Very clean and welcoming reception area. Real close to rail station at Lime Street. Luke made us feel very welcome on arrival. Room was very good. Spotless. Reported a couple of 'wee' issues on check-out (i.e. to tighten a door hinge and inspect a slightly loose window handle) - room 414. A few more 'real' tea-bags in room would be welcome. Nice cookies supplied and 2 bottles water was a lovely touch. Never tried coffee machine. Trying to squeeze the toiletries out of bottles did prove challenging. Ended up unscrewing lids. Ground floor restaurant looked fantastic and very posh. Having the separate entrance to Castaway bar is priceless. The offer to purchase dressing gown robes was 'nice' at £35. Bed was comfy. We would have preferred a few more, slightly firmer pillows. Saying that, slept like a log!

The location was very good making it very easy to get to all places of interest. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There was a good choice at breakfast, something for everyone. We also dined in the restaurant on the 3 nights we stayed, our meals were delicious and of good quality. All the staff in the hotel - on reception, the restaurant and at breakfast were lovely and very helpful. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay at The Liner again, especially as there was a free car park, but equally it is very close to Lime Street station. We would also highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Just finishing our stay here. I can not recommend it enough. The staff are friendly, and very accommodating. The rooms are a great size with a lovely comfortable bed. Daily room service puts the icing on the cake. It was great to come back at the end of a busy day to a lovely tidy room with fresh drinking water and a small packet of biscuits for a little treat. We only ate once at the hotel, the breakfast was delicious. The castaway bar is nicely placed and quite reasonably priced for a city hotel. You could not ask for a better location. 3 mins from Limstreet and a five minute walk into the city centre itself. Fabulous place!!

location. literally yards from Lime St. Station and relatively quiet but we always take ear plugs as we like the window open.. staff super friendly and helpful. Good breakfast too. Lovely large TV for when the weather was awful one night. Small fridge, complimentary bottled water and cookies as well as shower gels etc. Lively crisp linen. Very clean with daily house keeping. Shower was pretty decent too. Easy tu use safe in the adequate wardrobe. Overall, an ideal spot just 10 minutes walk from everywhere.

Great location, right next to Lime Street station. 10 minute walk into centre. Parking was free for the duration of our stay and right next to the hotel. It's a Great themed hotel. We had a deluxe cabin, and it was clean and spacious. Very comfy bed. The bathroom had an excellent shower. The breakfasts were amazing, with lots of choice, constantly restocking. The staff were all friendly. We used the Castaway bar, which was lovely, especially the happy hour !
